From all my garage sale shopping over the summer I was able to get all the Christmas gifts for the girls this year! I would get good deals all year long and hide it away. I was so excited to sort it all out and see what I had! It was amazing! I had just the right amount for both of them. I paid $2 each for these treasures and spent less than $100 for all their gifts!!!
Yes, I am addicted to garage sales. I check the classifieds online and make a map of the sales I want to hit EVERY week. It may be the THRILL of finding unique items or getting a GREAT deal on something I just have to have!!
I have been COLLECTING things for many years now and I want to share this "addiction".

Lite Brite
I remember playing with Lite Brite for hours. I bought this for $2 this summer and I just brought it out tonight for the first time. The girls spent a good 25 minutes working together on making this snowman while we made dinner! My 3 year old just LOVES Frosty right now. She finds Frosty everywhere and she carries one around. Today I had to buy snowman wrapping paper just for her presents. I can't wait to see her get excited over the paper!

Ready for snow!
We have a few flakes of snow on the ground and the girls are ready to go sledding! I bought these 2 sleds at garage sales this summer for $3 and $4 each so we are all set! We do need a bit more snow first though. The most important part of a sled for me is the rope so I can pull the girls back home when they are too tired to walk!

Merry Christmas Wooden Blocks
What I love about garage sales and even church sales is being able to find unique items. I found this wooden block set at a church sale for $3. I love the rustic look. I am not sure what store I would find something like this. My 5 year old helped me put the letters in order.
